Time Lesson

Subject: Math

Grade Level: 2-3

Topic: Review of Time and Elasped Time

Time Limit: 45 - 60 minutes

Objective:

The students will be able to demonstrate their understanding of Time and Elasped Time while playing Jeopoardy.

Materials:

• Computer / Laptop
• Projector
• Powerpoint
• Dice
• Clocks

Procedures:

• Divide class into small groups of no more than 5 students.
• Select one student from each group to be in charge of small group.
• Pre-select 2 students to use computer and roll dice.
• Groups will choose question to answer from Powerpoint.
• Only leader from that group will answer.
• If group is unable to answer. Roll dice and offer same question to another group.
• Game / review lesson will continue until all questions have been answered.

Evaluation:

The teacher will be able to evaluate the students’ abilities informally.
